I've downloaded the mod tools, but when I go to download the patch it asks open or save... I've tried both. When I open my computer doesn't know what program to use. When I save it just doesn't appear there or work. Any help for a moron?

download the patch from a reliable site and hit save to desktop, should be easy to find

I've done this from several different sites. It finished, says it downloaded, then asks me what program I want to use to open it with once I've downloaded it. Not sure what to do from there but the patch hasn't worked. I started up WaW and checked.

I've downloaded the patch to my desktop, but the file is just sitting there. Game is still the same, not updated. Can't open this file with anything. What do I do?

So nobody has any answers as to why the patch won't install as all my others have. I download it, but it wont automatically install. What program is usually used to install the patch?

I was having a problem finding games, I watched a vid on youtube to fully explain where to download the patches and where to put them on your computer. Here is the link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KI4QVp7c_Y . Only one prob, it worked fine for me until I did the 1.6 patch yesterday. Now I can't play online at all for some reason I should not have patced yet. I've seen others with this prob with 1.6 too but no answers, im new to all this patch stuff and need help. I like my ps3 better but been playing on my comp due to being on the move with my company. My Battlefield works better, I wish they would come out with Bad Company for pc...
