CoD2 cheats

I just got a new pc with cod2 on it. I looked up the cheats, and when i put the devloper 1, devmap, and god i can still die. Infact the only cheat that seems to work is the kill command. Can someone help me fix this?

THE GAME IS NOT SO DIFFICULT MAN! I CAN'T JUST PASS THE VETERAN MODE FOR 2 MISSIONS IN IT.

AND I'VE TRIED KINDS OF WAYS TO USE THE CHEATS, BUT THEY NEVER WORKED.

MAYBE THERE'S SOME REASON CAUSED BY THE VERSION?

I've played and replayed this game on "veteran" and beaten it 6 times to Sunday. At first I tried to get the cheats to work but they never did. Finally I said "forget it" and just beat the game the old fashioned way. The Cheats don't work.

In two plus years of playing that game I never could get the "God" cheat to work in the full offline game. I think they're busted.
