COD4 custom maps

what maps are you talking about?

new maps are in patch 1.7 if thats what you mean

this is not the point... I tried to download from planetcod and some other websites i found in google, niether of them work for me =( Can someone provide me a full procedure of installing the maps in cod4?

i've never tried but i think this works.

1. create a new folder 'usermap' here: Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\, create another folder "mp_custom" in usermap folder and copy your downloaded map files inside.

2. copy the map files here: Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\zone\english

3. open file: players\profiles\xxx(your profile name)\config_mp, then add the line: set rcon_password "xxx" ( xxx is your OP), save, set to read only.

4. run the game, start a new server, select a random map

5. open the console, enter: /rcon login xxx (xxx is OP), then enter: /rcon map mp_custom

then everything's ok.

any problems, don't ask me - i don't know either.

then add the extracted folder of the map to "usermaps"

should work

I was wandering if anyone who owns COD4 on a mac could help me out by telling how the hell do you get customs maps

to work on my MAC. Would really appreciate it if anyone could help, I have already tried other suggested ways but they just

dont work.

So If anyone who has cracked this puzzle could they please help a brother out.
