How's it play singleplayer? I will never tire of TF2 for multiplayer, but I have been looking for a cool singleplayer game to play. I read in an early interview with the developers that there was no plans for a singleplayer game, then later I heard people talking about bots.
I'd think about buying it if it had a good singleplayer game.

I just play the multiplayer, but I've heard people rave about the singleplayer being quite fun as well. It's the same deal, just with bots.

Play the demo, it'll give you an idea of what the SP is like.
Personally, I played SP in the demo for two days and had a bit of fun, but it didn't take me long to see the game would get boring and repetitive for either SP or MP in a short time, so I passed it up. I had my share of fun trying out the weapons, equipment, and vehicles of either side, though. The demo's worth playing around with for a while.
Quakewars is a great game both single and multi. Was hooked after playing the demo. I think with all the great titles last christmas it just got overshadowed. But the good news - it is destined to win best game no one played. :)
I've never found any problems finding servers that meet my requirements at all hours of the day or night. I think it's going to be a game that will build a bigger following over time. Many of the people that are playing ET RTCW will come over once they upgrade. Plus it may be an acquired taste that takes a couple tries for it to stick, since it's a little more difficult than COD to get a handle on.
Some what tactical combat to straight out bunny hopping cannon launching arm attachments with laser sights and instant lock on ability (don't forget the nukes). I got the game free, but I only played it for an hour before getting bored. It's not bad, but it's not for alot of people.
Yeah, the new demo they released I think helped a lot in boosting recent sales. This the kind of game that is going to gain more traction throughout the year, especially as the community starts to really get involved. If they released this back in late 06, it would have crushed 2142 easily.
I personally like this game a lot, I would place it as my favorite multiplayer game of 07. COD4 is great too, but it's mindless action. I enjoy the objective based multi much better too.
I tried the demo for QW, I was very impressed. It felt like Battlefield 2 only 10x better. It will be among the first games I buy when I get a new computer. What seems to be a highly under-appreciated title. Bit of a system hog though.
TF2 will keep me satisfied for a longtime though. I'll probably just get QW for the singleplayer "multiplayer."
QW wasn't too bad, i tried the demo, and i have played the Wolfenstein:ET b4 so it felt good old but same old with better graphics and maybe different gameplay, but vehicles were welcoming. however after getting CoD4, i've never even touched QW
The problem with ET:QW is that it was released to soon. I've played the game quite a lot and enjoyed the hell out of it, but only recently with the new patch has it really been an AAA title. The menu looks good, the tutorial is great and there are no more server connection problems.
