Which ones better?

You're asking this on a PC forums? What do you expect people to say? PC is by far better.A1B2C3CAL
I personally gonna say the PC version because I feel more comfortable playing FPS games with a mouse and keyboard. However if you are fine playing FPS games with a controller then they are about the same I guess. It's not like there is a huge difference between the two. phatkav
Sure there is a huge difference.
Mouse movement is much more refined than controllers. The console sensitivity is constant, with a mouse you can speed up, slow down whenever you need it, and you certainly can't flick and drag like thisyoutube.com/watch?v=cC091y_-37Yon a console.
PS. I'm not saying consoles can't change the sensitivity in menus, but you can't control your movement like a mouse does.

I mean a difference outside of the whole controller vs Mouse arguement. I know that M/K is a better combination, but if he doesn't mind it then there isn't a big difference.

I agree. I really depends on what your more comfortable with. I much prefer mouse and keyboard
Seriously console shooters are terrible. e.g. I played cs:s from the beta up until now, i went to a mates place and tried playing cs on his original xbox, i pretty much just spat in his face and walked off (haha maybe not that drastic).
I'm decent at halo 3 online, but seriously the amount of times you struggle to control your movement with a controller is frustrating. Your pc can run COD4 so I'd say go for it man, awesome game !
clearly the 360 version - better graphics and more precise control!fireandcloudlol please tell me that's a joke?

I too agree. Personally, I went with the PC version, but that's b/c I prefer M+KB for my FPS needs. A lot will argue that the mouse is more accurate, more precise, all around better, etc. but at the end of the day, which scheme is the best control scheme is all about the player. Whichever one you're better with, or just generally like more, is going to go a lot further than the minor, technical differences between your options. Also, you'll probably enjoy it more to boot (and since it's your money, isn't that the most important thing?).
Well I will try and be as neutral as possible:
The 360 controller is possibly my favourite gamepad ever and the acheivments for CoD4 would be a bonus but nothing beats a keyboard and mouse when it comes to FPS
Which ones better?
Marine152
I own both, and obviously the PC version is better. Keyboard and mouse is much better once you get used to it (maybe an hour or two, and you'll never want to use a gamepad again).
Of course the game looks way better on PC with 4xAA, 16xAF, @much higher resolutions, and denser textures and effects.
Granted CoD4 on the 360 is a great game, but if you own a 360 and a capable PC, then get the PC copy.
The PC Version.
Higher graphical resolutions.
Multiplayer Community is probably bigger.
Modding potential.
They have released editing tools to create your own maps

it's all about what you like to play with, if you like Mouse and Keyboard, that's reason enough to go PC. If you somehow enjoy FPS's with thumbsticks, go console..

Just watched your sniping vid. Are you using some auto aim hack or something? I notice you don't even have guys lined up, just aiming in the general direction and you get the kill. WTF is up with that? I have only started to play this game recently, and I have noticed this on replay cams where other players have killed me without having me lined up in there sights. It is seriously pissing me off. I usually play BF and America's Army and I don't see this garbage. Is this a hack you are using or an exploit in the game that does not require you to aim properly?

I'm sorry, I couldn't help but laugh at that post.
If you had experience in more fps or played CS you would know what I'm doing. It's called quickscoping. Through my experience of FPS, I don't need a crosshair because I know where the centre of my screen is, I only scope in so that my weapon is accurate, if you don't scope the shot will land anywhere inside the crosshairs. Sometimes I scope faster than usual, and it's not enough time for the scope to actually come up, but since I'm not using it as a visual guide, just to make my shots accurate, I still get the kill. Understand?
I understand what you are saying about the quick scoping. However, it still just seems like you are just firing in the general direction. It all just happens so fast and the vid is very low quality. If you are not cheating/exploiting then.. wow. It certainly looks fishy though. I am not used to playing these fast paced FPS so much. I am used to the slower paced realistic shooters.
The one kill where you jumped on the little barrier and then jumped again and sniped a guy while in the air is a perfect example of the lack of realism in this game. But yeah, I usually associate stuff like that with UT or Quake. I guess that is why I never liked CS either, but I figured I would give this game a shot. I don't know if this is the right game for me, the suspect snipings and helicopter rapings are getting annoying.
