COD4 still ur favorite game?

Ive been playing COD4 since its launch. No matter what game has come out since, I still seem to keep returning to cod4's Multiplayer! Such a great game.

Further, Cod W @ W - continues to launch new maps - why didn't they do this with COD4?Only one map pack was initiated.Ive played the Modded maps, not quite the same as Pro maps from Activision thou.

why would COD4 be anybody's favorite GazaAli

it was never my favourite its a brilliant game to play through once but its too short to be a fav

cod4 is probably the worst game ever for me.SP was really fun and then Mp was the WORST.Really terrible,boring,hard and everyone won't stop swearing,every second,swear,another,swear,and another swear.really annoying and is the worst MP i've ever laid my eyes on.this is why i'm switching to WW2 games again,at least it's not hard.

I have a buddy at work that said the same thing about Far Cry 2. "Who would want to play a game that they get killed every 5 seconds" - haha. The game is only as hard as ur Skill level.!

It doesn't even deserve to have the Call of Duty naem(although, no Call of Duty after United Offense really deserved that. Maybe 2) I'll stick with Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strike: Source. And Battlefield 2.

Yes they are. Especially Team Fortress 2. Pure multiplayer perfection.

I am so terrible at the multiplayer that it is just not very much fun for me. I play it sometimes but it has never been my favorite

CoD4 had a great singleplayer, but it ended too quickly to be worthwhile so its a bad game imo. The multiplayer is shallow, over-simplified (simplified is fine, dont get me wrong, but idiot proof is taking it too far), and too heavily based on unlocks and achievements. People need to learn to play for fun, not for rewards and status.

As for World at War, the only good part imo was the Russian campaign

Like what a lot people said, the singleplayer was done pretty well, but the multiplayer wasnt that great as CSS or TF2. Cod 4 had one-hit knife kills, overpowered perks like martydom and the three frag grenade perk. I also hated how players get rewarded helicopters and airstrikes for gettings several kills.

Cod4 is not my favorite game, but its still a good game because of the singleplayer.

One of my favourite online shooters, that's for sure. That, plus Left4Dead and Team Fortress 2. These 3 are the best online shooters, IMO. Haven't tried Battlefield 2 yet, I'll give it a go sometime. CS is cool but.. a little old. And it's crawling with cheaters and whiner babies nowadays. It's sad, used to be my favourite online FPS.Dark_Mystik

Singleplayer was pretty fun while it lasted, but after playing games like css and bf2 I just couldn't bring myself to liking cod4 multiplayer.

SP was okay, but too short. MP was fun for about a week, then I just got bored with it. I created a knifing class with the Juggernaut and Extreme Conditioning perks and just ran around knifing people, but that got boring too. Definitely not my favorite game.
