Meh... COD4 has a better artistic style, but Crysis looks better technically.FunkyhamsterI disagree, I think Crysis has both better artistic style and visuals. We've all seen army games, but Crysis brings us something a little different.
Crysis looks better in artistic and technically. However, COD4 seems to be complex graphic.MacoleleDefine complex. Don't get me wrong, the game looks great, but Crysis is undeniably superior it terms of visuals.

COD4 graphic is very complex, so many surface effect, polygon, vast environment, ...I think COD4 requires a PC equal or higher that you need to play Crysis.

Saying CoD4 has bigger environments and higher poly counts is backwards. You do realize Crysis is going to be set on an tropical island, with rendering distances of up to 16 km right? ...CoD4, while, it will be a great game, just doesn't come anywhere near Crysis in terms of graphics technology, ESPECIALLY not in poly counts and vastness, CoD4's levels will be very linear, but very intense. Like all the other Call of Duty games, unless they're changing the formula.
Here's just a few of the many technologies used in Crysis (not to say that some of them aren't used in CoD4) Sub-surface scattering, parallax mapping, volumetric clouds, soft particles, etc. etc.
I'll get some links in a second.

Don't forget both games will be highly optimized, CoD2 and Far Cry were both greatly otpimized, I seriously doubt these 2 will be any different. It won't take a supercomputer to run crysis, on max, yes, it will, but low-high can be done pretty feasibly, based on demos and computer specs that they've used, the requirements aren't going to be too steep. Besides, the 8 series will go down in cost (hopefully) considerably when the 9 series hits this fall.

COD4 will be realistic as Crysis if it's made by the crew is good artist.

I wouldn't consider those amazing, but they are most certainly impressive. I never said the game won't be as realistic as Crysis, I just think Crysis has the better graphics.Yes another joke topic, Crysis has the better graphics, put on glasses then look at both games, although COD4 will have the better Multiplayer,----- Crysis better single player mode/graphics. Not saying it will be a bad game, just saying what i think and many others think.
Yes another joke topic,

Indeed. This is no contest. Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 4 would be a better comparison.

I'm going to have to disagree, considering CoD 4 is being released for consoles as well as the PC, while Crysis is not, due to its requirements.the requirements are not the issue. Anyone can make a port, its simply a matter of optimization/toning down the graphics if need be. They kept it PC only so they could focus on GAMEPLAY as opposed to making sure it runs good on all systems which would surly detract from the game. I would not be at all surprised if a port is released some time down the road, depending on the sales/ratings of course...
