COD5 is it better in MW2 in some parts?

don't call me an idiot, but cod5 might have something that's very unique about it.i only know 2 but if you know more great! also.......do any of you guys still play cod5? i want to get it and make sure that i don't waste any money getting it.

You gotta admit though, blowing someone up and having their foot land next to you is better than blowing someone up in Cod4.

I actually liked WaW a lot...

i have played all cod games..the one that i love the most would be call of duty 2...modern warfare was good,but WaW has a brutal sp mode..it made me feel like i was actually slaughtering people..mw2 was meh..

i think COD4 has a better comunity, but I just love the gore and the sounds in WaW.

have you guys played mw 1 and mw 2 both?

mw2 is senseless if mw 1 would not have been released.

so the topic is meaningless that which one is best.

mw2 got more better graphics ,excellent gameplay,great story and features than mw 1 and they might had not thought of repeating thefeatures of mw1 in mw2 because in that way it will be boring to the gamers.

so,you can't compare these because they are incomplete without each other.

I havent played CoD5's multiplayer, but the single player is very uninspired in my oppinion. Of the Last three CoD's MW1 is head and shoulders above both CoD5 and MW2 in terms of single player. For multiplayer I'm guessing it would be a tossup between MW1 and WaW. Both offers the full range of standard PC features and options whereas MW2 fall short of whats normally expected of a top tier multiplayer game on the PC.

Online isn't anywhere near as good as it was in COD4 or COD:WAW. Seems like every other game I go into in Modern Warfare 2 I encounter the following : Noobtubers,laggers,bunny hoppers,rage quitters,HOST rage quitters, racists,homophobes,jerks,loud people,annoying people,stupid people,rank hackers,campers,etc

IWnet is an obvious downgrade from what we are used to in every possible way. It completely takes freedom a way from the player and forces you to play whatever map the game wants you to. People also tend to forget that COD:WAW for the PC got a lot more attention then COD4 did for the PC. Treyarch did an awesome job releasing content and patches for the PC.

COD4 and COD:WAW = Coherent Story+Exciting

COD:MW2 = Like playing a movie trailer in video game form. The storyline might as well have been a giant metaphor for Swiss cheese with all the plotholes it has.

COD:MW2 is a fun game...its just not the same, it is an obvious console port. It is losing its shine very quickly and a lot of my friends have returned to previous COD games or are simply waiting for Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

The story was terrible....its almost as if they did one quick draft of it and then promptly moved on to making more action scenes.

WaW has better coop game mode. Especially the zombie mod, can add a lot of hour of gamplay.

If they don't add map packs with a zombie mode or alien terrorists then I'm not buying mw2 , I play zombies more than any other game I have , its absolutely my favorite game of all time because it encourages players to work together more. I'm very disappointed that mw2 doesn't have it. I've read all about specialist mode and it doesn't really appeal to me. There's only so much deathmatch I can handle before I get bored. But thats just me, I'm sure mw2 is a really great game.
