I'm glad you had a laugh. It wasn't intended as a joke, but it turns out Relic is a provider of much entertainment all around the Internet. Check any forum post about COH2, comedy gold. If you're laughing at me exercising my rights as a consumer by abstaining from buying a broken product, you sir are a moron. Thanks for coming out either way!SKaREO

>Yeah how dare they release a free beta that I can uninstall anytime I want
>If I call everyone a moron im sure I can succintly deliver my points and convince them

I'm not trying to convince you of anything. It is in plain sight for all to see. Perhaps you're too stupid to realize this?SKaREO
Â
>Free beta
>Free beta
>Free beta
Â
I realize THAT much.
[QUOTE="SKaREO"]I take back everything I said before. Relic are completely incompetent and COH2 really is a major disappointment. I've cancelled my pre purchase. The beta was working fine for weeks and yesterday it won't start a game, and for new players the game won't even start at all. The developers haven't said or done a thing to fix it, but they added a button in their game to pre purchase while it still doesn't work. Disgusting! Relic, you guy really shit the bed here. I was going to give you $60 no questions asked and now I'm not going to give you a penny. See you on TPB!slabber44"DRAMA QUEEN".....it's a beta! There will be issues. Get over it.

Dota 2 is a free beta. When I search a game, it works. Beta isn't an excuse for incompetence.SKaREO

DOTA 2 isn't free; it's listed as a beta because the full hero roster has not yet been released, it's widespread but it costs 20 euros in the stores.Â
I got Dota 2 for free. I give away copies free all the time. You want one? Maybe you can compare Dota 2 Beta to this flaming pile of shit they call a Beta.SKaREO
Â
I said it was widespread. Dota 2 is NOT free. People can get it for free easily, but it's not.
Â
>LETS COMPARE A NEAR COMPLETE AND TESTED GAME TO AN EARLY BETA BUILD
>GUISE GUISE WHAT IS STRAWMAN ARGUMENT?
>GUISE GUISE I CANNOT INTO LOGIC
Â
I havent had these lels in a long time, thanks bro

are you another one of those people that think an open beta is just an fancy term for early access to a fully finished game? You just said yourself that the game was working fine and recently ran into problems after a patch.
Â
give it time and quit being a drama queen.
Arguing with you is like arguing with a small child. You don't even properly form sentences or ideas. You're a moron and I fear having this conversation is somehow going to end with me being on your level of stupidity, so I will refrain from now on. You appear to be from a Reddit community or something, which explains the need for logical fallacy in your argument.SKaREO
Interesting because I was paraphrasing you.Â
Two idiots arguing with each other... What a shit thread.ampiva
Welcome to Gamespot. Enjoy the buffet.
oh boy the old Skareo is back, I thought we had lost him there for a few days.Â
I'm sure Relic will have it sorted by launch, seems the issue is widely reported on the steam forums so they must be aware of it. Can't say I experience it myself though, never had a crash or serious issue and I've been playing since the closed alpha back in December when Relic was still under THQ!Â
If this patch was released after the game launched then yes I can understand getting upset but its still in Open Beta, the fact that Relic is even updating it shows us that its now a 'demo' beta like most games have nowadays but a real one. Be happy these kinks are getting worked out before the game actually releases.Â
Bullshit all you want, doesn't change the fact that Betas are considered feature ready and nearly complete minus a few bugs. Breaking the game during beta = Cancelled pre order. At this point, it would take a miracle for me to buy this game.oh boy the old Skareo is back, I thought we had lost him there for a few days.Â

If you said it was Alpha I would be like, "Yeah, true." If you said it is Closed Beta, I'd be like: "Well, I guess mistakes happen a couple months before release date." But you're saying 2 weeks before release date it is acceptable to completely break the game entirely. Typical moron poster on a random forum to be honest.SKaREO
Totally agree. So please shut up.
Betas can't have game breaking bugs... Are you serious ? Even launch state games can still have those.

Youd be exercising your right as a consumer if the game released, and it didnt work for people, and then you chose not to purchase it. But getting worked up for a beta is stupid. I wish open betas wouldnt exist because the current userbase of consumers don't understand what beta means.Â
Theres a reason I dont download beta drivers or play games that are in beta.
Guys, SKaREO almost doesn't have any posts where he isn't flaming or trolling somewhere in it.  Just ignore the flamebait and let this topic die.

You got to be joking since all you do is random post in most topics and troll and spam. You sir are so full of sh!t it's funny!
[QUOTE="SKaREO"]Yeah but technically, COH2 open beta isn't free either. Because I have to tolerate the inability to play the game before I can play the game, and that quite frankly is an expense in itself.kaealyNow you're just trollin'.
He never stopped. WHy his ass isnt banned yet I dunno
[QUOTE="skrat_01"]Don't pre purchase, yo.SKaREOIrrelevant. I won't be purchasing this game at all anymore. Like anyone even gives a f*ck what your troll ass does.

well have fun not playing the best RTS in yearsÂ
Dota 2 is a free beta. When I search a game, it works. Beta isn't an excuse for incompetence.SKaREOlol while that IS true I cant say this is happening for everyone. I played fine yesterday and the day before and the game just started for me right now. Ive had crashing problems here and there with the game but thats about it. Some lag too but when I played the Closed Beta there were problems too and no one complained then. Calm down and give it a second. lol. You are getting way too worked up for an open beta man.
