i just ordered the ram shown in my sig yesterday

since its the new type of ram dimm ddr2, (dont worry i have the correct compatibility on my mobo!), can i mix different sizes, say, put the slow 1 gig (512x2)of ram i have in a different slot, and put the new, faster 2gig(1x2)ram in a different slot?

i know u used to be able to combine like that, but with this cutting edge ram is it possible or a good idea?

heres the ram i ordered http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146565

you can combine them, no matter what mobo your running you can combine different makes, models, different speeds. the only problem is, if you combine different bus speeds of RAM say 800mhz and 22mhz, the motherboard will autopmatically scale down the higher bus speed so they both run at 22mhz
