Personally the game isn't worth just the single player experience at its price. The online is what brings the game a great name and while you could skirmish computers that eventually gets old, while playing people is a new experience most of the time.

I'm not sure that you can even play single player without signing in online. Maybe I missed it...it's been a while since I played, mostly because it takes 2+ hours to update it.

I'm not sure that you can even play single player without signing in online. Maybe I missed it...it's been a while since I played, mostly because it takes 2+ hours to update it.
I'm pretty sure that Opposing Fronts requires internet connection. You have to create an account and everything.
