Maybe you should get both games. Company of Heroes and Titan Quest will run you around $50. Both are long lasting, fun games to play.

Agreed. They're both lasting games, but, it's worth nothing, they're long-lasting for different reasons. Titan Quest simply takes a long time to push through--the levels are large, the monsters plentiful, and the story rolls on and on. It's not particularly sophisticated, but it's fun and it definitely takes lots of time. Even if you never lose your way, and never die, there's a lot of material to deal with.
Company of Heroes isn't execptionally "long" in terms of its campaign and available variations; the basic release of the game, for instance, is a single-faction experience (don't expect to play as the Terrans, and then the Zerg, followed by the Protoss). It has considerable staying power, though because it's such a chess game of an RTS: you'll spend a lot of time attempting to master different tactics. Heck, I spend most of my COH time skirmishing against the CPU, and still find new challenges. I'm always looking to see if I can defeat the Germans on this map or that using a different strategy than previously, focusing on airborne maneuvers instead of armor, maybe, or spending more time digging in on the West side versus the East.
Finally, it should be pointed out that while both games are quite good and both have plenty of staying power, COH is, in the end, an all-around better game. While Titan Quest is a worthy and well-done Diablo clone, COH is probably the finest base-building RTS out there.
