Company of Heroes-worth getting?

I just played the company of heroes demo,which let me play the first 2 missions. I thought the missions,second one especially,were top notch. I've never had so much fun just building my base in a game.

Do people still play this online? Is it worth getting now? The game is only 20 dollars,the only thing stopping me from buying it is the expansion pack is 30 dollars,so in total it would be 50 dollars,I don't know if I want to pay that much if it's not worth it.

there is a gold pack where you can get both the original and the expansion for the price of 1.look into that.

I actually am thinking about buying this game right now. Direct2Drive has the bundle for 45 dollars, should I buy both of the games? how many levels is the expansion? I usually only play single player RTS, so I want it to be worth the 50 dollars. Thanks if you respond to this, I didn't want to make a separate topic.

Great game but be prepared to download some large patches! If you just get the original game you can still play against people with the expansion online. The online community is rather active and I have had no problems finding someone to play against. Each time they patch it, it only seems to get better.
