company of heros or dark crusade?

which should i buy???

Depends on what you like. Both games are great. I would suggest Dark Crusade if you like the Warhammer 40k series, and the previous Dawn of War games.

I would recommend Company of Heroes if you like World War II, and historic games.

But if you like both. In my opinion, I would choose Company of Heroes, its very intense, gameplay-wise, and graphically beautiful.

Dark Crusade all the way man, I found that CoH got boring fast, and Dark Crusade had lots of awsome gameplay that never got boring.

In CoH its alot of the same rush to see who gets to the checkpoints first and such. Theres still that same element in DC, but alot more to it.

So yeah, DC

sorry i meant the pack of the 40k series not just the dark crusade. so far i like CoH more but im not sure. 40k had alot of cool blood effects and heros. and COH dosent have many units to use.. need more help thanks

Company of Heroes = 2 unique Factions with a single campaign American Campgaign

Dark Crusade = 7 unique factions. Each with a strategy take over land campaign.

well, does company of heros get boring after a little bit?? becauase alot of people said that. Also is it realy hard to get used to because i was playing skrimish mode ont he demo on easy.. and sadly i thought i was doing good with all of my resources places but then they just shot up out of nowhere with tanks and swarming flamethrowers lol. is it easy to learn??00173

Here are the pros and cons of each game, and my personal ratings:

CoH (my rating: 9/10)

pros: great graphics, soundand animation, very tactical gameplay, amazing campaign

cons: only 2 sides to choose from (skirmish), high PC requirements

Dark Crusade (my rating: 7.5/10)

pros: 7 factions to choose from, relatively lower PC requirements

cons: relatively inferior graphics and strategy involved

Company of heroes is alot better game more fast paced and alot better graphics and sounds.

Though if you like more fantasy then world war 2 then dark crusade is proboably the game of choice.

The strategic depth of Company of Heroes is alot deeper and its much harder to master while dark crusade havn't got than much to offer in the matter.

But in the end its your choice but i'd go for CoH

Not really a fair review, DoW is years older, and does have its advantages.

It really comes down to this:

If you want better, more refined gameplay, go for CoH. If you want to play something a little less intimidating, and with more variety, give DoW a try. Both are a really good purchase though.

If you like WWII games, Company of Heros is for you, but if you like Sci-Fi games, Dark Crusade is your game. CoH is more tactics and has a slower pace (like C&C), but DC has more actionand is faster (like Starcraft).
