Company of Heros patch problems

I bought Company of Heros game of the year edition because i heard it was really good. But i need to patch it. When i try to patch it from ingame it takes like 4mins just for a Mb to download. So i tried to patch it from the website but everytime i run the patch it says that it cannot find the Company of Heros file in the windows directory or something. Anyone know a fix.

Oh yeah, my friend had the same problem, I think it's a bug with the latest patch. I have yet to get it though, and I'm scared to get it because I can't play the game without getting past the 'Relic Online' menu.

Anyway, all I can ask is this. Is CoH on your internal drive, or on an external drive? Maybe the patch just has a problem with external drives or something, cuz my friend has the same problem, and he keeps CoH on an external.

Ok, this is wierd, the patch just will NOT come up, I clicked 'ok' after downloading it, but...the game just closes and nothing happens.
