We're in the lucky spot of having so many great new games out right now. Like a lot of working and otherwise busy people out there, I only have time for one. Can anyone who has played both break down the strengths/weaknesses and differences between the 2? I am sure it would be helpful for a lot of people.

I personally lean towards games with lots of customization and rpg elements.

Thanks for any info!

Well that's kind of a hard q to answer becuz they are totally different games. One is an Action/RPG, the other is a straight up FPS. From what you were saying tho, I think you'd wanna go with Mass Effect.

Crysis is and FPS with the best graphics of any game out right now, which comes with a price 8800GTX is needed to play on High/Very High. The game is pretty lengthy, filled to the brim with Holy @#%^ moments. It gets pretty intense later on. The way you play is up to you. You like stealthy? Turn on the cammo or attach a scope/scielencer to your guns. Fast paced action? Turn on max speed and go crazy. Their is alot of freedom more so than Farcry. The multiplayer is so so. It is not bad but it lacks alot of modes. If youre playing with people who dont know what to do its not fun. If you buy Crysis get it for the single player.

Mass Effect is gorgeus, deep, lengthy. The story is stellar, the voice acting almost as good as The Witcher (im in love with this game). The fighting system (?)...um the shooting is very good like a simplified Gears of War. The use of the powers adds a new level of fun to the gameplay. Your team mates for the first time ever are better off without you ordering them around. When you do they tend to get stuck in places they shouldnt, but when left alone they are good in a fire fight and actually help you by using their powers. The sound/music is amazing. Some side missions can get repetetive but Crackdown and Assasins Creed were awesome games while being some of the most repetetive games ever. The graphics side is not perfect there is some texture pop in, but I dont know it doesnt bother me.
