I just got got a new power supply, and I'm wondering where I can confirm that it is compatible with both my motherboard and graphics card. I'm pretty sure it's compatible, but am having trouble confirming. The power supply is the rocketfish RF-500WPS2, my graphics card is the geforce 8600 gt, and the motherboard is the amd athlon 64 x2 dual core 5000+ 2.60GHz.

If anyone knows off hand if these are compatible or if I would have any problems, or a webpage that would lay it out for me it would be appreciated.

Are you sure all the cords are plugged in?

yeah, the chords are plugged in. I tried uninstalling the drivers for the old card, then installing the new ones, but i got a message saying the new drivers couldnt be installed because the hardware wasnt present(i was doing this with the old ati card in) so i shut it down, put the nvidia card in but again got no signal so i couldnt install the drivers.
