Have you plugged your VGA into the motherboard instead of graphics card? I think (but can't be sure) that your PC will detect the discrete card and use that instead.

Take your CMOS battery out, wait a few seconds then put it back in but don't power on when the battery is out.

If it has it, and most newer mobo's do, check to see if you connected the extra 4 pin power connector on your mobo. It's usually hanging around near the cpu.

Check that you have plugged in everything porperly. Also what are your system specs? your setup could need more power than ur PSU could supply.

Try to get yourself another graphics card and pop it in and see what happens.

If all fails, check that u have plugged in everything properly into your monitor. I have to wiggle my 2nd monitor's power cord to get it to work sometimes.

(if you get the " no signal" message on ur screen disregard the last part)

Did you check the CMOS? They can be a right pain for something so little and benign.

I believe he meant "did you pull the cmos battery out and wait 30-60 seconds before putting it back in to reset the cmos?"

possible short circuit or bad mboard. to rule out the possiblity of a short circuit, take motherboard out, use the antistatic bag that came with it, put it under the motherboard, don't screw in the mboard, connect the power into the mboard and powerbutton connector only include cpu and ram, connect nothing else, no usb headers etc or anything of the sort and see if it boots up, if it does try plugging one thing in at a time and see if you can get a full boot

The anti-static bag is conductive. Do not put it under the board.

Tried to give? I told you right away to take it apart and put it back together. Did you do that? You would have fixed the problem if you had. We can only do so much from Cyberspace---we need your hands and eyes.
