Id say that this build would be perfect for me, since I have a 360 and mostly game on that but would use this for work and for games that are exclusives on PC. Any recommendations.

Im not to familiar with the motherboard but everything else looks great. The system will run exclusive game well for some time and would even run multiplatform games alot better with better visuals.

Change the processor to an E7200.

Change the GFX (If you want) to an HD4850 (Extra $30 bucks but worth it, if you can't afford an extra 30, then you don't need to)

If you have an old HDD from a former computer, you can use that instead.

The rest is okay.

get the c2d e7200 for $70 less than that q6600. Then, use the remaining $70 to upgrade to an Hd 4850 (roughly $30) and get a nicer motherboard (remaining $40).

I really want the Q6600 so that I can overclock it to like 3.6GHZ, because it seems to be a very good overclocker. I think about the 4850.

Im not sure if you know allready but OEM CPUs dont come with the heatsink so you will need one, Im only saying since you havent listed a CPU cooler.

Everything looks great regarding your parts

3.6ghz isn't going to be easy to do at all and pretty much impossible to do with the cooler that comes with the cpu. Your going to need a nice motherboard and an extra cpu cooler/paste. If you want to overclock so bad, the E7200 overclocks even better than the q6600 and the E2180 which is like $60 can get 3.0ghz jus ton the stock cooler that comes with it.

q6600 will be future proof I think. Games like Diablo 3 are supposed to make advantage of multiple cores. Just shows you how close we are getting to quad cores beaing better for gaming than dual cores.

Also consider a HD 4850, going to put it in my next build here soon.
