Is it a new computer? Might be bad ram. Are there any type of errors that pop up when it crashes?

Might be drivers. I've been struggling with nVidia drivers since last March.

its not a brand new computer, had it for about 9 months. It used to work perfect, running games with great fps, and slowly started crashing more and more till now where it always crashes on any game. and i have updated all my drivers. i thought it might have been a faulty graphics card since it only crashes on games, but still not sure :(

Download this... http://downloads.guru3d.com/FurMark-v1.6.5-download-1965.html Run it, if your computer restart then yes it might a faulty graphics card... if not then it's your windows infected with virus...

Check the event log for any crash-related items. They might help narrow down the culprit.

Where are you getting your temperature readings from? PC switching completely off is usually caused by CPU or PSU. Possibly might be a virus.
