The best thing you can do at this point is to get a new computer. Upgrading that thing to play AoC, and other high-end games, would require you to strip your PC. Read around on the forums, ask questions, look at guides, go to NewEgg.com, and set a budget. Then, build it yourself. :D

make your own. and at 650$ you can have someting il lends you my point of view how to build one . i know your a bit impatient. First Where you from ? & Resolution maximum of your Screen if it a LCD wide Screen or CRC OLD VGA monitor like mine a 1280x1024.
because with pre-made medium / high age of conan depend of your Resolution of gameplay
and as far i know building is pc is alway FTW
Cause Gameplay i rather not play Above 30fps. it sure we want more so it load faster : it lag less more power. ;)

example you know i play Wc3 ? i ad a Amd Athelon 2600XP . The whole Set burned kinda cause of the PSU & motherboard where Cheap from ASrocks so nothing work so i bough a 4600x2 whole custom build . and since i load some custom map faster
and i have less lag peak when controlling 1400 units. in custom map = limitless unit as long your pc and the game handle it
:P it why Im getting a much better pc for Starcraft II but not only for it. as well for more 2009 games
cause they said not only it will scale to pc performances. much more then wc3 so we cold be able to make like a map such as in wc3 with. 5000 units if your pc and people who play it was able ;)
(but that a bit off topic it just my opinions)

Try and find a local computer store and pick the parts you want on your computer. Including the installation fee, it'll still be better bang for buck than the premade from HP/Compaq/Acer/Gateway.

Mine's a little more expensive, going about $1149 CND, taxes included. But ask around, there are people that can help you out.

If you absolutely don't want to build your own, go with this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227072 -$440 after rebate

and then replace the pewpy x1250 with a 8800GT

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133232 -$120

Total $560

Now, this isn't made for future games, so don't expect it to be a world-beater, but it should at least make AOC playable.

Yeah, I was going to suggest looking at CyberPowerPC, they have pretty cheap gaming machines.

you can build from a pc part like said that poster hiphop on previous page . local store if you can't hassle cause im still thinking for money in piece by piece you get much better performances for motherboard : ram & power-supply & video card & cpu
because the user is a 1280x1024 users so cpu make a big differences
http://www.amazon.co.uk/HP-Pavilion-f1703-display-speakers/dp/B0000A039V
http://www.tomshardware.com/2008/02/13/wolfdale_shrinks_transistors/page5.html

example of power with picture without overclocking in this review overclocking add +15% to +25% fps like 50fps become 75 or near it
you can see going Toward any intel cpu is worthing the custom build

but it will cost you 300-500$ more buck and still weaker then build your own buddy and it not that hard
you find the part ? il tell you how.
you say budget.t hen once if done it will ship to your house
then if you really have no one who have a clue how to do like in the guide ?
then go to a pc store and ask a LEVEL up hardware it will cost few bucks and it will be done in max time 1 day
and then you collect your stuff and play game. if you have defective hardware you re-ship them to the manifacturer like EVGA : and if it on waranty such as rAM ARE Lifetime waranty like corsair. you re-send memory to corsair and they send you new one.
