I've had something like this happen before.. I took it to the geek squad at best buy.. if i'm not mistaken, they just re-set my bios.

buut it's always a good idea to make sure your internal components are still connected properly. Sometimes it can just be a loose wire and or burning out of your power supply.

Try moving your jumper to the 2nd and 3rd pin and then start up your computer.

Is anything happening as far as power? I mean, just nothing happens when you press the power button, I would try a different PSU, and if moving the jumper on your mobo doesn't work either, after you have tried a new PSU then it's your mobo.

try living your computer off and unpluged for a day, your computer must have been overheated or something

Why would you leave your PC on all day every day anyway? Only thing you're doing is shortening your PC's lifespan and running up the electric bill, unless it acts as a server or something.

Sounds like a dead power supply. Does the fan on the power supply spin? Have you checked the fuse in the plug?

It runs up the electric bill but it doesn't shorten it's lifespan.

In terms of some of the hardware in a pc, he is actually lengthening the lifespan. It takes more out of them to turn on from a cold boot then it does to leave them running all the time. And computers are so energy efficient these days, you won't see much in a change in your electric bill from leaving it on everyday and having it turned off.
