I have a pc with an AMD athlon 64 X2 2ghz 3800+ and thinking of buying an 8800 gt.

I'm wondering how games like COD4, company of heroes, BF2, and orange box will run with that processor and the 8800gt.

(also have 3 gb, 2x1gb + 2x512mb, i think duel channel forgot)

Those will all run great on that system.

I have slightly worse of those specs you showed and I can easily max out all those games at 1680x1050.

I have a 3200+ AMD and an 8600GT, and 3GB DDR RAM.

I just got a new CPU (AMD Phenom Quad-core 9600) and new RAM (2GB DDR2) and a motherboard. It's gonna be great :D
