I'd like know to what hardware to upgrade for my pc.

Currently I still have a p4 2.0 ghz, 1GB ram and a 9600 graphics card. Ideally I should probably buy a new pc, but I want to try and wait till fall.

So if I were to upgrade my pc, what part of it shall I upgrade? I was leaning more towards a new 100-150 dollar graphics card.

I guess what I want to also know is if my whole system is kind of a bottleneck for any upgrade i buy, potentially making the upgrade not worthy. I'd really love to play double agent and rainbow six: vegas, but i know at my machine's current state it wont work.

Thanks in advance

Upgrade to 2GB of ram... trust me, for todays newer games it's a must. Then get a lowerend 7000 series card ..best off going with the 7600GT. Shouldn't bottleneck that CPU but since it is a lower end P4, maybe you should think about OCing it? You can probably get something decent out of that chip.

RAM I agree should be increased, but the processor no. The user would be better off either rebuilding from the ground up, or buying a whole new system, instead of just wasting his time or money. Do agree this thread would be better suited in the Hardware Forum.
