confused on 3d score

I get a 5518, on 3dmark.

I figured my system would do much better than that...Is that right or can someone make some suggestions.

his specs are

E4500 2.2 Dual Core

4GB DDR2 Ram

GeForce 8600 GTS

XP pro .

that score sounds right

to me that sounds low

yeah its the vid card more than likely.

try removing 2gb of ram aswell for benching. since XP doesnt make full use of 4gb, 2gb should bare better bandwidth. but as it was said, 3dmark scores dont reflect real-world performance, such as in games.
