I got Coolmaster iGreenPower 500W PSU. I am not sure that my current PSU will have enough 12V amps to power a modern GPU such as gtx275. I am not sure how you calculate the amps I looked over the internet but I am still confused:oops:

The PSU specs show 13-14 amps continues and max 19 amps but I am not sure if these are the actual amps or do you need to calculate something.

PSU Specs

Help?

you would have to add all the 12v rails together to get your max amps, so this psu has a max of 58 amps on the 3 12v rails. should be enough

deadesa

that's not how you do it

you look at the amount of watts there are for the 12v rails, and you divide that by 12.

watts/volts = amps

396/12 = 33 amps
