I'd have to say probably an hour. Once you start using it, it becomes pretty natural.

If you're that used to analog controllers, it'll probably be a few days before you really get used to a keyboard/mouse setup.

A proper gaming mouse I'd prefer over a gaming keyboard (and I'm sure that there are people who prefer the vice versa) -- but really, you can play pretty much exactly the same with any ordinary mouse and keyboard.

Currently I use a Logitech G5, and an Microsoft Erognomic 4000 keyboard.

the mouse imo is the most precise gaming controller ever invented, it shouldn't take too long to master.

Another person has seen the light!

It shouldn't take you that long to get used to it, maybe a five or six hours to truly get used to it. It usually takes me that long to get use to my XBox pad when playing Halo 2.

I made the same move about a month ago and havn't regretted it since! Im in the process of upgrading my rig, but as for mouse and keyboard, if your comfortable with your current setup then keep it.
