Is it for a computer monitor or a TV? It's not that great for a TV but it is average for a computer monitor.

700:1 is not very good. It depends on how picky you are. I'm using 1000:1 and I still think it's crap.

19" is far too small, especially for HD gaming and on a widescreen set. Hanns is a no-name, probably crap brand, contrast ratio is too low If you absolutely must go that small, and can't buy a monitor, at least go for this, so the height will match a 19" standard TV, it's a name brand, great response time and higher contrast ratio. Save your money, you'll be far happier with the results. Remember with LCDs, the electronics that drive it are at least as important as the panel itself, and the nonames cheap on the chipsets. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001096 I'm guessing from the sound adapter that you're planning on running it into a set of computer speakers?
