I've had this for a while now and im just starting to wonder why it flashes red and not blue. At the side where the reset and the power button is located there is a little transparent white type glass one with a lighting symbol and the one under it. The one under it kind of looks like a cylinder and it flashes red. In most pics i've seen its blue. And how hard would it be to replace the front fan because one of the LEDS is out. It's the bottom left one so i doubt it has anything to do with the flashing problem.

The top one is blue for power (unless thats just from the front fan illuminating it) the bottom one is your hard drive activity light, it flashes red. I have this case right here beside me.

I'm also part of the cm 690 club:P To answer your other question, it's easy to change the front fan. Reach under the front of the case , there's a slot you can put your fingers into and you pretty much just pull the front of your case off. Might need a little force, it's all just clipped in, then unscrew the fan filter and replace the fan.

Lol didnt realise so many people had the CM690 when i was puchasing mine everyone was telling me to get the Antec 900. I didn't though just can't stand the look of the Antec 900/1200.

I don't have the side panel model but i do get an extra two side fan spaces got them all filled x6 120mm and 1x 140mm at the bottom of the case keeps me pc nice and cool.

It might not be connected to the motherboard properly or the led might be gone.
