the 690 should win for wire management and usability, but the 900 should absolutely kill for airflowMakariSo does this mean that you are voting for the 900? And im going to be running a Q9400 w/ a Hd4870 If that changes anything at all.
i dont know anything about the 620 but...the 900 hundred is awesome for airflow and looks.
its fairly roomy inside also.
it gets so horribly dusty though. gets so much dust its crazy.
i'd reccomend something with a dust filter for sure.
My only complaint with this case is that the front panel has to be taken out to install disk drives and it's a chore to take it out and put back in, and trust me the experience is worse than it sounds. nintendog66Ummm...what? No it doesn't. Clip your drive into the clips, and pop it into the sideways bay. The front panel doesn't have to come off for any part of the installation unless you're changing out the fan.
the 690 should win for wire management and usability, but the 900 should absolutely kill for airflowMakariOut of the box you're absolutely correct - the Nine Hundred comes with more fans (and I believe at higher RPMs) than the RC690, and therefore should perform better. The RC690 has much more potential for superior cooling though. The dual 120mm top fans mean you could mount a 240mm radiator in the top of your case should you choose to water-cool, and the dual 120mm design also means you can flip fans up or down depending on what gets you better temperatures. The dual side fan setup also means that with a downdraft-style cooler like the Noctua NH-C12P or Thermalright SI-128 SE your CPU cooler will be receiving fresh air directly from outside your case which should result in better temperatures than a tower-style cooler can offer. Your power supply can also stay much cooler since it can draw air from directly underneath the case via the grill on the bottom, while in the Nine Hundred it's either barely pulling in air from the slight edge on the bottom of the case, or pulling warm air in from right under your graphics card. If you also mount a 120mm fan at the bottom of the case you'll also help push fresh air towards your graphics card which should help even more. A single 200mm fan and four 120mm fans just aren't going to compete with seven 120mm fans and an 80mm fan.

The antec 900 is far from roomy. Also, cable management is a pain unless you cut some additional holes in the case.
Im just curius Does anyone here belive that either one would matter for the Temps?
I can bet you both cases will have enough airflow to take a SLI/CF settup to low temps.
I have the Antec three hundred (the littlebrother to the 900 ) 4*120mm @ 5v nexus real silent and a 140mm 900rpm 9db fractial design silent series fan.
Temps in my system (as in my rig.) never go abowe 29-33c system temp. and CPU barley hit 49c even tho i have it OC'ed by 0.9ghz over the stock 2.2ghz. My HD4850 just barley hit 50-60c while running the fan silent with a Zalman fanmate and OC'ed.(HD4850 the fan runs aprox at half speed and is noiseless) HDD's keep about system temps. (they have the cage just behind the 2*120mm nexus in the front.)
Ambient temps is in my appartment 23c.
My guess is that a Antec 900 can do just a little better than the smaller brother 300, reviews showthey are much alike in the temps departmen.
But what are my point?
Both cases will give you low temps, go for the one you think look best, I dont like the design of the 900, but not the 690 either, And both cases are not quiet enough.
I choose to sound damp my Antec 300 and did get a VERY quiet case and just as good airflow, but the case is a bit smaller than the Antec 900 / C/M 690 tho.
Just my two cents abou it.
