Hey guys I am new to these forums and i have been looking and I know there are a lot of forums already about coop games but my request is a little different not only am i looking for a few good coop games but they have to be able to play more then 4 players GRAW for example has a 4 player cap. Thats where i am having trouble in my search. I play once a week with some work buddies of mine and there are any where from 6-10 of us. The game we have had most our fun playing was Ghost recon not the new one because the 4 player cap for coop. Any game along those lines that are good and fairly new would be great i am looking forward to your information. Any help would be great. Also i know some of you mightsay do a counterstrike kind of thing like 5 vs 5 but that gets boring after an hour so let me know what games are out and about to come out thanks for all your help.
I recommend Rainbow Six - Athena Sword or Raven Shield. If I remember correctly, you can have up to 8 teammates. You can also find a handful of people playing online at any time. *myself included.
I second the recommendations for Serious Sam and Rainbow Six 3.
Operation Flashpoint or Armed Assault are also worth trying. Coop in ArmA is possibly the most fun I've had in any online game. If you like Ghost Recon, you'll enjoy either of these as well.
Sven Coop isn't recent, but it is a lot of fun and lasts a long time when you download a few map packs.
If you like RPGs, try Neverwinter Nights or Diablo 2.
Thanks for all the responses That Arma game looks pretty cool i am going to check it out. I also like rpg's i have played diablo with some friends and NWN2 form what my friends tell me is a little slow paced just keep the suggestions coming please thanks. As for Serious Sam i have played that but it gets boaring cuase its to much of the same just kill everything in site and when you die you just respawn. Let me know of you guys think of anything else... Thanks again
Sacred is a fun coop I play with a few family members. Most of the above are legitimate, although I heard that ArmA had major problems at launch, I'm sure they're fixed by now.
