Cooperatives games

Hi,

I'm looking for coop FPS. I mean FPS where I play with my friend vs the computer. I'm not looking for for a game like Couter-Strike, Battlefield or Day of Defeat vs bots. I'm looking for a game like Half-Life, operation Flashpoint, Desert Strom or hidden and Dangerous coop game.

System Shock 2 has co-op if you patch it up to the latest version.

Serious Sam is also great if you and your friend like to fight massive waves of enemies.

is rainbow vegas six on pc? that has good coop on ps3.

so you want something that you can play over a lan or internet? i have never played or even seen a game like that for pc.

I'll try. I know the game "Conflict Desert Storm" is playable from 1 to 4 players with 1 to 4 gamepad on XBox. But on PC it's impossible to play it like that or over a LAN. I fear it's the same problem with rainbow six.

Yes. It's what I want. In the FPS category because those games exists in RPG category (Diablo I and II is playable in cooperative mode; Infinity series like Baldur's Gate I and II, yes it's possible to play the main campain with a friend)

To give you an idea :

- Is it possible to play the main campain of "Squad" with a friend (i know the answer for this one : no there is no coop mode, only a versus mode)
- Is it possible to play the main campain of "Ghost Recon" series with a friend (?)
- Is it possible to play the main campain of "Rainbow Six" series with a friend (?)
- Is it possible to play the main campain of "Operation flashpoint" with a friend (?)
- Is it possible to play the main campain of "ArmA" (?)
- ...

Me and my dad play multiplayer cooperative games. and we do have trouble finding them cos nothing makes it clear THIS IS A COOPERATIVE GAME. so i have about 91 games and about 10 of them are games we really enjoyed.

What I don't understand it's why it's impossible to add a coop mode on squad based games like, medal of honor, call of duty, Ghost recon, etc...

Now this game is not out yet, but It will have online co-op, Gears of War! it obviously isn't out now, but something to keep your eye on, really good game.

doom 3, FEAR, and FarCry all have co-op mods fir the story. Doom3 is awesome! FarCry co-op is pretty cool, cept its real buggy. when u die, u spawn from the start of the mission. kinda hard on BOAT, when the start is on the middle of the ocean. and if u both die, the AI can stop working..other than that :P

havnt tried FEAR, dont own 2 legit copies. it needs to authenticate cd-key

i tottally agree its not rocket science to add 1 more player in the equation of these games to make it multiplayer. its not as if tonnes of programming has to go into it. what happened to the old fps multiplayer games like DOOM and HERETIC me and my dad where disgusted as DOOM3 wasnt multiplayer. a DISGRACE!

read my post, Doom 3 is my friend. theres a Co-Op mod. works really well
