I heard tell that Intel are realeasing Core 2 Duos 6320 and 6420, which are the same as the 6300 and 6400 but with 4mb caches, at the same price. Does anyone know when this is going to happen, and would I be better off going with the 4300 or 6320?

Last I heard it was Q2 (I think april). If I were making the choice I'd go for the 6320 over the 4300, because it's a better cpu and I'm not a big overclocker. If you are then the a 4300 will surely be more rewarding.

Hmm...I wont be overclocking past what I can achieve fairly comfortably on air cooling. 6320 sounds good. What difference does the cache size make?

Cache size means a slight performance boost now, but that boost may get bigger and bigger with future games... would go with the 6420 or the 6320...

The extra cache will help a lot in future games, and since its dual-core,it'll help in games like supreme commander.
