Not with that graphics card
Any computer repair shop will. You will have to pay them for the service though. To be safe you should check with one before you do anything, but thats how a friend of mine got his upgraded while keeping the warrentyWould I have to bring it back to the shop I bought it from(radio rentals, doubt they'd do it) and idk if any comp shops here actually do that stuff.

opening the PC doesnt void warranty, just switches it to a limited warranty. but if u open it and snap stuff, then thats bad. GT320= epic fail for gaming these days unless u live in 2007 (or eariler, as it'll run any UNREAL 2 powered game fine) and DONT play crysis
Indeed. If it's a laptop, your in a bit of hot bother.Isn't 320GT a laptop gpu?
If so I doubt you can upgrade at all since most laptops can't have upgrades other than ram and the occasional cpu.

Good news is that you already have a great Pc bar the Graphics card. Though that graphics card is decent and you can play some less demanding games on high settings is holding your Pc back. To take advantage of that i7 860 you have and play even the most demanding games at highest possible settings i suggest something in the lines of an Nvidia Gtx460 1gb which doesnt cost to much ( about $220-230 ) If you cant afford that go for the 768mb version which you can save $25-30Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.80Ghz, 6gig DDr3 ram(no clue what type ;x) Nvidia geForce GT320 1gig?

to calrify, the gt 300 series is only on offer to the builders like HP and Dell and ACER, etc. not for retail seperatly. they are rebadges and die shrinks of the gt 230 and 240's.
Am I the only one who finds it disappointing that a game that old is still generating this can I play it question?
As for the card is questions, do not worry about it. The game looks great on just about any setting. I played it on medium using one of the ATI 5800 cards and thought it look better then the vast majority of the so called HD games.
You should be worried about what settings to play it on that it will be the most stable. It slowed toa crawl at the end for me and ruined the fun of th final battle.
I think so. The 320GT is a 9600GT or 9800GT no? They're both equal or better to the 8800GT which could run crysis on high. If so then he definitely could.

Performance wise the Gt320 is about the same or slightly less faster than a 9600gt. Has 72 cuda cores as opposed to 64 on the 9600gt but hasconsiderablyslower GPU/memory/Shader speeds
As for the 8800gt/9800gt ( they are the exact same card since the 9800gt is a rebranded 8800gt with some better power saving features ) those considerably faster than either of 9600gt 320gt. Those indeed can run Crysis on high but with resolutions though up to 1280x1024 and with frame rates just passable ( 30-35fps average ) so no the 320gt will be ok for medium settings but not high

Cheers, do you think they'd sell that card in any shops around here(Radio rentals, PC zone computers etc?) and I'd have to pay someone to put it in or something since I don't wanna void my warranty.
Why didnt you just try out the demo?

can i suggest if ur looking for a cheap alternative to ur gt 320, in australian anyway 9800 gt's can be had on ebay for quite cheap because they are considered old, but with todays style of console ports the 9800gt is still a good card.

Granted, Crysis still looks great on Medium if the framerate is stable. Please Log In to post.
