I want it to be able to run SC2 and ETw on medium to high settings 580$-610$. If you can find an already built computer that would be even better but I have heard that the best thing to do is just to build your own computer...

Thanks in advance!

Wow, thanks for the nice offer but I think there is already a guide on this website on how to do it or I will just get a computer store to do it. But thanks again!

EDIT Oh, and when do those combo deals end?

It's not bad but the power supply is garbage

Spend the extra money and grab a Corsair power supply, they're the masters right now when it comes to overall lines and they're not much more money

The power supply is the foundation of your computer

I'd say take 100 bucks out of the fund and dedicate it just for the power supply, for that you could pick up a 750TX with all the power you'd need plus silent running and 5 year warranty

OCZ's quality control has gone straight down

It's a gamble with their power supplies and after the huge StealthXStream fiasco I would not trust any of their stuff until we see an overhaul

I've always thought both OCZ and Corsair were the PSU leaders, this is news to me.

CHECK THIS OUT

AND THIS

MORE IS HERE

What bothers me most and is more telling about this disaster is that not only is it this power supply but the others are failing more then "usual" too and in the case of this power supply they've admitted it's their fault yet they still have people pay to send it in for an RMA.

The company does not perform like it used to and I don't know if these are just cost cutting moves or a change in direction, no idea

^ 51% 5 eggs doesn't seem bad. The one I posted had 68% 5 eggs; 6% 1 eggs; and 4% 2 eggs. Every company has products that fail. Even if a particular series of psus had a high failure rate, I did not recommend that one...

I haven't been in the scene in like 3 years but that doesn't look like a "fiasco" to me, there's always going to be failures and negative reviews. I've ran a GameXStream for 2.5 years and it's been nothing but solid. Even 3 years ago there were Corsair elitist who acted like nothing else was good enough, not saying you're one of those, but its a pretty common sentiment that they're the only good psu company and that's just not true.

Nope, the motherboard has a sound card. You've got everything you need. :)

Huh, I'm running a 600w StealthXStreme and have been for 2 years. Now powering the older version of the GTX 260 and a Phenom II 965. No problems here.

But back on topic. I'm digging the budget build posted.

From the reviews, it seems that the bad PSUs started coming out a year ago, well afer you bought yours. I think Jayson may have a legitimate case here. Don't get their Stream line of PSUs...get their Fatal1ty line instead!

OCZ Fatal1ty OCZ550FTY 550W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Nothing but good reviews here.

I didn't recommend one from that line of psus. Would you advise against the one I recommended?

I would not. Just a little worried about the state of affairs concerning OCZ PSUs, though.
