Could someone recommend a good graphics card for my PC?I made a steam account to

I made a steam account today. And the 1st thing I tried to do was download the demo for Sonic Generations. But as soon as it was done downloading and stuff. I got an error message in red text that said "no compatible graphics adapter found" I asked a friend and they said it was because the graphics card my PC has isn't compatible with the game. I have a Compaq Pesario PC and Windows Vista operating system. Can someone tell how I can fix this issue such as what type of card I should buy. Or maybe an alternate soultion?

theres not much point getting a graphics card until you know more about your computer. do you even know if you have a pciex16 port in there? whats your processor? compaq presario tells no-one anything.

for that price id get the 7750, you wont be getting 60 fps on Metro 2033 but its still a good low range card. can you post the games that you may want to play in the future ? that will make it a bit easier to recommend a card for your needs

EDIT: if you cant find your specs download speccy. its a program that scans your computers individual components and gives lots of useful info and its easy to use. download it here. dont worry its from cnet so its safe
