Yup, medium to high, although processor may cause a bottleneck on very large scale battles.

the processor is gonna bottleneck u quite a bit as its only a Pentium dual core not a core duo which is significantly faster.

[/QUOTE Yeah you should. It's too easy....way too easy to overclock nowadays. And add another 2 GB of RAM. Your rig could probably run it at about high with a 1440x900 resolution.

i would say passable results on low and medium settings at medium resolution. if you oc the cpu and gpu just a tad and add 2 more gigs of ram you'll be looking at all medium settings pretty smooth.

Nope, not even if he has Vista, Crysis does not need a lot of RAM, it uses up to 840 mb.

How did you reach the conclusion that RAM is to blame for that?

Watch some test on beasts not PC's with 2 GB or RAM, 3 and 4GB, the game runs the same, it doesn't even get 1 more frame if you use 4GB.

Try looking at the health of your OS, or lower the settings, if your PC isn't up for the "challenge".

I have crysis and crysis warhead. my specs are in my sig, and i get 20-50 fps on high/very high or enthusisust. But I oc'd the crap out of my gpu. you could play with all settings at medium and res at 800x600 and get MAYBE 25 fps.

Manufacturer: INTEL
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 1790MB RAM
Hard Drive: 84 GB Total
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS AGP 8X
Monitor: LG 17" CRT
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Audigy
Speakers/Headphones: Creative SBS 360 5.1
Keyboard: Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard
Mouse: Logitech Optical
Mouse Surface: Standard surface
Operating System: Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2

That was the configuration on which I first ran the Crysis demo and it worked. Yes, all settings are turned down, but I can say for sure that it looked just about as good as Far Cry at Medium, which is pretty good.

So to answer your question, yes your setup will defintely run the game and do a good job at it. Don't worry too much about the lag and so on, that will come into play only when you are playing it at the highest settings. As long as you are happy playing it on medium at ordinary resolution, you should be OK, so go and get this game.
