Thank you for that snide, useless remark. One is on the source engine and the other is the oringinal Half-Life engine, correct? Or is there some other obscure, idiotic difference that your adolescent mind believes to be imporant?
Also, my question was clearly stated in the opening post. Is there a reason for the higher player count on CS than CS:S? Is there something significant about CS that brings more people to it than CS:S?
As to the other poster, I just played some CS (I had it from quite a while ago, but never got into it). It may have been a run of luck with bad players, but I was able to roughly break even, and then got into a death match game and did quite well. It was irritating, though, that in many of the games, it required me to download the server's music and other things that I really don't care for. Is Source like this?
