counter strike: source or battlefield 2?

Ive heard that both are a lot of fun. Which one is better? im looking for a run and gun shooter , but i like a game with big maps too.

Both are totally different and totally awesome in their own ways.

Buy HL2 because it's amazing and you get CS:S free with it, and also get BF2 / BF2142 for an entirely different but equally exhilarating experience.

i far prefer counterstrike, but from your description (big maps, run n gun) i think you'll be happier playing battlefield 2

I'd choose any Battlefield game over CS:S.   I'm not saying CS: Source is bad either by any stretch.
