CS is now a stand alone game. Just go to your local videogame store and you should see CS source in its own box

or if you want, you can buy it from steam

Yeah you can buy it in a few different ways, by it's self in a store or on steam, in a game pack from steam, or you can buy Half-life 2 which includes it and HL2 Deathmatch.

If you have a good connection I would suggest jsut getting it off steam, it's real easy. If I were you I would get Half-Life 2 as well so you can enjoy all the player made mods as well.

HL2 and CS are very different imo.

But still, HL2 was pretty fun when I tried it. But I like CS better.

I have a question, if you buy CS Source from Steam, and you reformat your computer, will CS still be in your account?

I was going to buy through steam but decided to buy it in a store instead.

You can access all of your steam games from any computer so long as you have a valid login. It's a fantastic system.
