Today i tried to change my stock CPU fan(2500K) with this one.

When i boot up the fan works for 1 second and then it stops.

I let the PC run till the CPU temp reached 65 Celsius but the fan still wasn't spinning and then l turn it off.

So should l RMA it or is an option in BIOS that l haven't noticed?

My M/B is MSi P76a C43 b3.

You plugged into the correct headers?

Is your motherboard giving you a warning message at boot?

What did you plug the fan into?

I plugged it in the four pin header where it says CPU Fan.

I even tried to plug in a three pin header but nothing happened.

Afterwards, l tried the stock fan and worked just fine.

No warnings during the boot.

Although, when l open MSi Control Center to monitor the temps a sound alert comes up.
