Hello, I have read a guide on overclocking a CPU and what to keep in mind etc, I tried to attempt it. I headed into the BIOS screen and went to Frequency Control, but there were only 3 options, referring to a spectrum? In the guide it had a lot more options, with FSB speed and multipliers etc. Why am I only getting 3 options, either enabled or disabled, and how do I get it to show me the actual frequencies?
CPU: AMD Phenom 9550 X4 2.2 GHZ

64 Bit

No clue on the motherboard, how would I check that?
Thanks for your help!

I've never tried OC personally, so I don't even begin to know the problem.

However, I do know that if you can't see multipliers that means your processor is locked. All you can do to adjust the OC is voltage. Multipliers are safer to adjust than voltage. So be careful.

If there is nothing there, there is nothing you can do about it.... Your motherboard isn't capable. Or it's a pre-build, like from Dell, or something and they use their own Bios to purposely lock you out of that stuff. They rather youbuy a new PC from them, than overclock their's.

Also, voltage adjustment has nothing to do with increasing your speed. Increases in voltage are done to make the system stable at the higher clock speeds.
