Hey guys, got a new pc i just built, was wondering though, what are normal idle temps and load temps for an amd quad core 630?

A good idle would be 29-38C anything above 40C for an idle is bad, 60C is the danger zone for load temps

Hey somegtalover, can I ask how you seated your Dark Knight? I've got the same CPU + Cooler and have temps much higher than that...I'm going to be taking it off soon and reapplying thermal paste and all that, just wondering what method you used.

actually my temps do not look like that any more, they were super low on the first day i put on the new cooler and arctic silver 5 thermal paste. right now I'm idle usually about 32C-37C

Thanks for replying, well my idle temps are about 33 degrees i think, and when i look at if after a gaming session it goes to about 39 which seems pretty good so im happy ^^ and its on a stock cooler.
