CPU Temps?

Hey all,

I use HWMonitor to monitor all my temps. My question is: Is CPUTIN the true measure of my cpu temperature, or is it the cpu core package temperature?

I have googled it, but I have not seen anything definitive.

My CPUTIN temps are about 8c cooler than my cores, so it would be good if CPUTIN was the true measure of cpu temps for me lol.

I beleive the CPU core package is the square silicon portion where the actual processors are mounted on. The part with all the contacts.

I just look at them all lol

Not sure, but my temps are the other way round

SYSTIN 33C
CPUTIN 37C

Core #0 31C
Core #1 31C
Core #2 27C
Core #3 27C

I tend to pay more attention to the individual Core temps, but since they are all well within good limits I don't have much to worry about.
