I have a question....how do youfind what kind of socket ur mobo has if you want to upgrade...

my curent cpu AMD Athlon XP 2200..

the comp HP Pavilion 523n

You should just get a new computer rather than get a new processor. What I got off the internet says its a Via KM 266. Which..... is not so good :(

You should buy a new computer. Don't waste your money upgrading your old computer
