I tohad problems with the crash caused by LIVE .... if the crash appears "don't send" just don't don't touch it & ALT+TAB in to the game :D ! It worked for me !

It isn't a proper solution. Sometimes the game just crash without message box pop up.
Hope Epic will release the patch soon.

ive never had a problem, i've played te game and completed it with no stuttering or crashes and playing multiplayer fine.

Start > Run > msconfig > startup > disable all (apart from your firewall).

you can also click on services tab and then click the box to hide microsoft services and disable all

Also you can disable all of the SYSTEM INI and WIN INI.

If you have problems once you restart you can just type msconfig again and enable it all. Though you shouldn't have problems seeing as it doesn't disable anything you need, only disables the crap you put on your pc since from startup and that.
