Ok, so my computer won't stop crashing. I just got a new video card about a month ago, and that hasn't overheated(been checkin the temps). My computer is out in the open and runs fairly cool. I've been shutting down backround tasks, but not too many because I don't want to shut any important tasks down. I mean, I just don't understand what the problem. Doesn't seem like there's a virus, I've done several virus scans with a few different firewalls. Any one have any ideas as to what may be causing this issue?

May be the drivers are bad.  Try uninstalling your new vid card drivers. and reinstalling the newest version.

if the temps are fine, do eliminate any software problems, reisntall drivers, then restart and reinstall direct x and direct x runtime. then go into command promt and type chkdsk, if it finds problems, do chkdsk /r so it restarts and fixes the problems. if that doesnt help, or if you dont feel like reformatting, start looking into what part could be causing this. try memtest86+ on your ram on start up, and try some harddrive diagnostic tools
