I can't seem to reinstall windows due to my bios, it will not allow me to boot from USB.

I tried getting a force boot manager on a CD and then booting from CD so I can then force a boot onto usb. But I can't seem to boot from CD either, I'm getting the disk boot failure enter disk and press enter error.

system info:

operating system: Windows 7 Professional

system manufacturer: Sony

System Model PCV-RX850(UC)

BIOS: Award Medallion BIOS v6.0

Processor Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz, ~2.4GHz

etc.

any ideas?

this is an older computer, actually very old but capable to run windows 7.

I found a way, and it's very easy, I added the force boot manager to the boot manager in bios, where you select Win7, etc. It worked.
