No one on this board will help you with the sims.  Very few people here play it.  I recommend you go to this borad.  You will get all the info you need and a LOT more. http://forums.thesimsresource.com/forumdisplay.php?f=489

Among the items you'll find in Open for Business is something called a "Show My Ride Display". It's for community lots only, not residential. You can find it under the surfaces category. This acts as a display shelf for cars, and is the only way I know to show and sell a car. It will hold one car, and that's about it. It has a huge footprint, you'll need a lot of space each one. You can't just set it up like a parking lot, I'm afraid. Wish you could, it'd look cooler, but that's the way it goes.

And basersx? Sims 2 is one of the best selling games on the shelves right now, just like the Sims was before it. It's been showing on the NPD top 10 list ever since it came out. Lots of people, huge numbers of people, play it. I'd hazard to say that more people play the Sims 2 than almost any other game short of World of Warcraft (no, no proof, just something I'd be willing to bet on). I think the lack of Sims 2 input on these boards is because many of your "hardcore" gamer types are a little embarrassed to admit they play it. The active posters and talkers of the community tend to contribute on the game specific sites out there, where they know like minded people are hanging out. Kinda like a cult, really :)

True true.Since playing TS2 (The Sims 2) is a lot like playing with a doll house.Hardcore gamers won't play it unless one of their friends gets them to play it.Then they might just become hooked.(Guilty of doing that)

My theory is this..Most hard core gamers own sims2 rofl..Just to afraid to admit it..Some one out there is keeping the sims2 game on the top charts every month an its not just girls...

I own Sims 2 & 2 expansions & I'm not : 1) a girl 2) afraid to say I own it 3) afraid to discuss it And, yes, I've also hooked friends on it... several of them aren't ashamed of it either! :-) I've considered it one of the neatest games out there since I first played it on my old Amiga 1000. It's just comparing apples to oranges comparing it to *most* other simulations out there. I also enjoy other (RPG, etc. type) sims... but there is just something (an undefinable something?) about succeding in the Sims that doesn't compare to the other sims I play. And the complexity can be just as varied & enjoyable in the Sims series as in those others. Maybe even more so, as it seems to imitate life! In any case, to each his/her own...
