I wanted to format my harddrive for a long time and reinstal XP. Now I don't have any external HDD. I figured maybe I could create a new partition for my hard drive. Like split it in 2. One C and one D. I could put some files in D. Then when formating, I format C.

Is this possible at all?

I can't create a partition size larger then 10 mb.

You have:

Unallocate space before:

Partition size:

Unallocate space before:

The partition size cannot be increased higher then 10mb. Is this perhaps because the software needs to be paid for?

Ok so with alot of button mashing I managed to get a pertition free of 29 GB of space. I prefer about 50 GB wich would have been nice.

Still haven't tried of course, so don't know if it will work in the first place. Maybe another software might be better I suppose.
